English Workbooks

These drawings are all from a commissioned project I worked on, a series of workbooks for people learning English. I loved working on this project because it was a real challenge trying to convey people of different ages and cultures, but only in black and white lines drawings.

STORYLAND

These are from a website I worked on, for a graphic design project at university. Because I love drawing, I decided to create an interactive picture book website, and made the feature story Goldilocks and the three bears.

THE KNIGHT OF MIGHT

This picture book is based on a story my dad wrote when I was little, that I created as a surprise for him. It was a bit of an undertaking, but fun to try out a new style and put together a story, and it was great to see the look on his face when he opened it!

These cards are from a game I designed called Story Cards. the purpose of the game is to get inspiration flowing, and to come up with some fun and wacky stories. Choose two character cards (pink), one setting card (green), one object card (blue), and one event card (yellow). Now as quickly as you can, think of a story that involves all those elements!
